Haven't been reading the paper much, but heard that there is an intention to change the uniform for girls in school? What's the matter? Over the years, I think schools are getting more and more uniform 'fashion' ... eg, for prefects, librarian, malays, normal ones, etc - they all have differnt types. Its not deniable that those with white top (shirt only) are looking rather 'sexy' as the material itself is quite thin and 'see through'. The same goes to baju kurung - its really not-so-nice if you are not wearing 'simis' (camisole) inside! And recently, I think I saw some whom purposely didn't wear simis + wearing some colored bra to 'show-off'.... sigh.. what has happen to our society?
I think its ok to maintain white instead of changing it to blue top, as long as the rule maintains that a camisole must be worn if you are not wearing a tudung. So, for Malays, you can either wear a tudung that can at least covers part of the body, or for those with no tudung (as Chinese and other races tend to got into the trend to wear baju kurung too), they must wear a camisole.
Don't think that's something difficult as there's prefects and discipline teachers in the school... (well, unless they go to the extend of removing them after school!!!) :(

I just think the govt should just do away with any school uniform when the students are in secondary schools. Just let them wear casually to school like the Mat Salleh kids.
Don't quite agree with that!! We will have more problems later like no short skirt, no spegathi strip, no panty hose, etc... lagi susah mau control.
