Firstly, my deepest condolence to my auntie and my 3 beloved cousins.
On 9th Feb 2009, 15th day of the Chinese New Year in the year of Ox, at exactly 59 years and 3 months old, my uncle passed away in the hospital bed of some liver failure and complications. Tragic and sudden, and everything seems to happen so fast and done in one day.... but the emotional pain, personal mourning and 'many more' to come is just the beginning....

Average spending
House location: Old Klang Road
Office location: Downtown KL
Mode of transportation: LRT, monorail, taxis (let’s talk about minus the taxi as we consider that a luxury item, so we factor in taking RapidKL / busses + walk instead of taxis to depart/reach home)
To office:-
House to LRT station – car pool
LRT = RM2.60
Monorail = RM2.40
Walk to office from monorail station
From office to home
Monorail = RM2.40
LRT = RM2.60
RapidKL – RM1.00
Total travelling cost = RM11.00
Lunch – average RM5.00 without drink!
That would come to about RM16.00 per day. With an average of 22 working days a month, that would equals RM352. How about dinner? Let’s factor in another RM5 x 22 = RM110, total in 22 days RM462.00 (and breakfast is not even counted).
Sat / Sun = 8 days a month or 4 weekends = RM50 per weekend (enough?), hence RM200. Just lets say you have a bit of life – ie, watch a movie with friends or get a meal at a good restaurant or get yourself some stuff.
RM462 + 200 = RM662
How about rental, utilities, necessities (em.. shampoos and soap at least!) – let’s give a lump / rough estimate of RM300 / month
Now that equals RM962 (RM662 + RM300)
I was like helloooo… anyone still earns in the range for RM1,000 a month? Yes! It is really a very sad situation.

Another failure - KL Convention Center
Argh.. just how frustrated can one be.... have you tried visiting the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center? the KLCC that is next to KLCC - firstly, the confusion.. one stands for Kuala Lumpur Convention Center (KLCC is seldom used though) and the other Kuala Lumpur City Center I guess... but for God's sake, the 1st always do not have enough parking! The indoor parking sucks, and is always "FULL". The outdoor one is also the same, marely <100 lots i think, but expecting crowd like 100k ppl? This must be a joke. How can you hold a big convention in a convention center with only 10000 or so parkings - say I include those near to you - UOA, suria KLCC, along the road causing jams, etc? expect Malaysians to be taking the LRT ? expect us to be walking? well, perhaps its our wrong - the malaysians that will try to park to the nearest lift or enterance - simply because walking there under the hot sun is terrible, and if you happen to buy things (eg pc fair), imagine you have to carry them all the way to your car or into the LRT .. :(
KL Convention Center - please improve your parking - add more lots, have more PROPER signages to tell people where to park and how to go to your canggih center!

MAS if you cannot take it, don't do.
Just what is so annoying than you cannot handle the response? You advertise, you fight, you got it, but you are disappointing people - I was so annoyed that I have been trying to call the MAS hotline for 2 days - almost every hour, each time waiting for at least 10 mins listening to their IVR music + repeated message that says "our staff are still busy and will attend to you shortly". And the website www.mas.com.my is totally useless as well... see what I get...

Fantastics huh? I just wonder why you spend so much in ads but yet not a single sen to invest in your web server, bandwidth and also extra personnel to handle customers?

Nick Jr. Dora the Explorer Castle Track Set
Nick Jr. Dora the Explorer Castle Track Set made me RM69.90 poorer today.... my little girl wouldn't let go of it - even after 3 attempts to hide and distract her, she still finds her way back to the rack that displays it and say she wants it!! Yes, she has a loud, very loud voice.. and nobody could bear her screaming.. and at the end, we gave up and I have to pay for it in order to make sure that people don't think I am kidnapping my own girl!
But both girls (and the daddy!!) enjoys it - once we reach home, that's the first to be unpacked, and daddy helps to put the tracks on... and am glad that Ally could actually tell many many many stories out of it - well, that's more than 2 hours of continuous play with that set by Ally alone.... not too bad huh?
